Yog Art w/ Marta Massara | morning vinyasa flow
Marta Massara is a certified teacher of vinyasa yoga, pranayama (breathing techniques) and meditation. Yoga practice helps us connect deeply with ourselves, bringing greater clarity and presence of mind. Through a physical practice connected to breathing we activate new energy and relax the mind.
The idea of Yog Art was born from her previous work experience in the art world (Galleria Cardi, Istanbul Biennale, Flash Art still in progress), curator and founder of the project.( @mmarta.mas - format_yogart)
The meeting of Yoga and Art was very natural, there is in fact a beautiful synergy in common. Practicing in art places, inspiring practice in an artist has profound aspects.
In addition to the context, the colors and texture of some works can also influence our perception and act on an unconscious level. They therefore allow us to more easily abandon our practical and everyday thoughts. The artist investigates and explores his feelings, so the yoga practice in his research consciously directs our feelings for a deeper listening. Awareness leads us to live and savor the moment present.
Also on the occasion of the Ortigia Contemporanea Festival, the yoga practices will be inspired by the thoughts of the artists participating in the Story yet to be told exhibition . A special opportunity to practice yoga, connect and delve deeper into the works on display. Each yoga practice will be accompanied by a tour to the selected work.
The project was hosted in various galleries and foundations including, Woolbridge Gallery, Fondazione Pistoletto Cittadellarte, Terzo Paradiso Official, Yogafestival Milan, A Pick Gallery Turin, Un Fair 23-24, Borderline Art Festival Varallo Sesia, C+N Gallery Canepaneri Genoa - Milan, Galleria Cardi Milan - London, Events with Let's it Art - from painting to plate.
